Farming Project
Farming Project

AARD's farming project helps local farmers in Guinea Bissau, Africa, teaching them how to grow crops that will sustain them throughout the year. These crops include tomatoes, radishes, carrots, lettuce, cabbage, melons, cantalope, green peppers, green beans, and many more.

We are currently working with three different villages growing these crops as well as experimenting with growing new crops in this region of the world. These three villages are Gabu in Guinea Bissau, Dara (14 km from Gabu), Lugajoli (95 km from Gabu). Combined we have over 60 members working over five square kilometers of land.

In 2009 we will be opening an agricultural school to train young African's in modern agriculture and new agricultural technologies.
